Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
The adoption of renewable energy is crucial for Nigeria’s sustainable development, especially in rural areas like Jalingo North LGA in Taraba State. Renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power offer a viable solution to the energy challenges faced by many communities, providing an alternative to unreliable grid power. 1.2 Statement of the Problem
Despite the potential benefits of renewable energy, the adoption rate in Jalingo North LGA remains low, with many households continuing to rely on traditional energy sources.
